This revolutionary CSP Products oil strainer cover made out of aluminum low pressure casting for Type-1 engines combines the quality of an original oil strainer cover with the advantages developed by CSP. On the inner side you'll find a sealing edge just like the one on the original cover to assure a perfect seal with the original paper seal. The more obvious advantages are on the outer side like the additional cooling fins which align with the fins from the engine case. The real highlight is the slanted hole for the drain plug or an oil temperature sensor, protected by a protection block. This way you are able to use an oil temperature sensor even with a very low car.
This product is not made for deep sumps because they are fixed to the engine case with the original studs and their studs for the strainer covers are 30 degrees offset.
